Meet the Owners!

Shelley, joint owner, has been running Stanborough Avenue, Pre-School Nursery, Borehamwood, Herts, since its conception in 1995, when the "KidStuff" name was born.

Shelley has a wealth of personal and managerial experience in the childcare field; in practice, bringing up her own children and professionally, successfully developing "KidStuff" in its expansion.

Shelley is extremely child focused and will accept only the highest standards for her family and the children for whom she cares in the nursery setting.

Malcolm, joint owner, planned and orchestrated the development of the new "KidStuff" site over several years.

Not only was he involved with the extensive building project, he also successfully completed a Diploma in Pre-School Child Development and Early Childhood Education at Hertford Regional College, Ware, Hertfordshire.

All staff go through rigorous training as we are looking for only the best. Many of them come to us with several years of childcare experience as well as being a parent.

Our staff has an awareness of your child's gradual introduction to the nursery and the importance of the long-term commitment to the children in their care.

They have practical understanding of the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs and behaviour of young children.

Our staff respect the special relationship between parents/guardians and those who look after their children at the school. Our aim is to work together with everyone and provide consistent care to the children and communicate effectively with all the families.

Our staff are dedicated and motivated to give all our children the best experiences in their time with us.

All our staff are subject to Police checks in accordance with the 1998 Child Care Act.
